General

Do you have an indoor swimming pool? 
There is no indoor swimming pool in the hotel, but all of our guests have free admission to the Olympia Sports Centre, which features a 630 m² swimming complex (heated indoor and outdoor pool). Please note that the free admission does not apply to the sauna facility and is not valid on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Towels can be borrowed at the swimming pool.


What are the opening hours for the sauna?
That depends entirely on you. However, we ask that you let our staff at the reception desk know 30 minutes before your desired use so that it can be preheated.


Can a guest use the Internet free of charge?
Yes, WLAN can be used free of charge in the entire hotel.


May I take my four-legged friend along into the hotel?
You can gladly arrive with your dog. However, we would like to point out that access to the dining room is not allowed for your dog and we charge € 13,- per night (without food) for your four-legged friend.


Are that parking spaces or a garage at the hotel?
Our free covered parking area is located right next to our hotel. For motorcycles and bicycles we offer you a garage, which can also be used free of charge. A separate bus parking area especially for those travelling by bus is available right next to the hotel. NEW: E-charging station directly at the hotel (charging against fee)


Is there a lift in the hotel?
Yes, all our rooms can easily be reached from the ground floor. In the course of this we would like to point out that our hotel is barrier-free, but not adapted to the needs of the disabled.


How long is the hotel entrance door open?
We close the entrance door as soon as we also close our hotel bar. But since this varies, we urgently recommend that you always carry your room key with you in the evening, since you can also open the entrance door with this at the same time.



Is there a safe in the room?
Yes, there is a programmable safe in your locker.


May I smoke in the hotel?
Since 1 June 2010 a general ban on smoking in public rooms applies in Austria. As a result, this also applies to our entire hotel. However, you can smoke on your room balcony and in front of our entrance door without hesitation and use the ashtray provided for this.


At what times is the reception desk staffed?
You are cared for at our reception desk daily from 7:30 am to approx. 10 pm.


Do you heat the hotel in an environmentally friendly manner, or is electricity in the hotel produced in an environmentally friendly manner?
Yes, our entire hotel is supplied with electricity from 100% renewable energy. We heat with wood and thus try to provide a positive contribution to the environment.


Where does (drinking) water in the hotel come from?
Thanks to our location in the Olympic region Seefeld we are blessed with the best and freshest spring water from the Karwendel mountain range.

Cuisine

When are the mealtimes?
Breakfast is available daily from 7:30 to 10 am, afternoon cake from 3.30 to 5 pm and dinner from 6:30 to 8 pm. In the event of a very early departure on the evening before we will gladly prepare a packed lunch for you in place of breakfast. Please inform us about this in due time. If you are arriving later than 8 pm, please let us know whether we may provide you with something to eat. Our afternoon cake is free of charge if you are consuming a beverage.


Do you offer gluten-free, lactose-free or vegetarian dishes?
But of course! We take your requests and food intolerances into consideration as much as possible and ask that you inform us about this in advance.


When is the hotel bar open?
Our hotel bar with open fireplace is open for you daily from 8 am to 11pm.

How can I pay my hotel bill?
We accept cash, advance transfer, international cash card (EC), VISA & MasterCard credit cards


When are the check-in & check-out times?
Check-in: at the latest 2 pm
Check-out: by 11 am 


What should be particularly taken into account when arriving by car?
No motorway toll has to be paid if you are arriving via Mittenwald from the direction of Garmisch.
We especially recommend our guests who are arriving by car to urgently have suitable winter equipment, because Seefeld is located at 1,200 metres above sea level!

Cancellation

What are the cancellation conditions?
In accordance with the Austrian Hotel Contract Conditions, the following rule applies in the event of a cancellation: cancellations and changes within the indicated period are will be charged from the total amount of the booked service as follows: 

  • More than 28 days before the date of arrival: no cancellation fee is due;  
  • 28 to 21 days before arrival: 25%;
  • 20 to 14 days before arrival: 50%;
  • 13 to 7 days before arrival: 80%;
  • Cancellation within 7 days before arrival: 90% of the booked service will be charged  

We recommend that you take out “HOTELSTORNO PLUS” travel cancellation insurance with the Austrian travel insurance company Europäische Versicherung, because we charge cancellation fees (you will receive more detailed information from us when booking). Please note that late arrivals and early departures will also be charged.

Infrastructure & activities in Seefeld

Can a guest swim in the Wildsee?
Yes! The Wildsee, a wonderfully clear mountain lake with a swimming area, restaurant and children’s playground, is about 200 metres away.


Why do I need the guest card? 
With your personal guest card you get many discounts, such as participation in a varied programme of activities in the Olympiaregion. As a guest of our hotel, in the winter you exclusively benefit from the free use of all cross-country skiing trails as well as the free use of regional buses. Please note our guest bonus for this purpose.


Where is the nearest bus stop?
The village bus operates directly in front of our hotel. You can reach the skiing & regional buses only 100 metres away at the Seefeld railway station.


Is medical care available in Seefeld?
Yes! Three general practitioners and a dentist are available if required. The nearest hospital is in Innsbruck.


How far away is the nearest bank?
Only 50 metres


Where is the nearest petrol station?
Only 300 metres away from our hotel! 


What time do the shops in Seefeld open? Is there a supermarket? 
You can reach the nearest food market in the Seefeld pedestrian zone, about 100 metres away from the hotel. The shops are normally open from 10 am to 6 pm, but are partially closed during midday.


Where can I find out what’s going on in Seefeld?
Our “Morning Post” is available at the breakfast table and will provide you with all important information about events, weather and much more.
